be devoted to physics requirements, survey of technologies and performance
of detectors employed (or to be employed) in particle (medium and high-energy)
physics experiments at accelerators, underground laboratories, submarine
facilities, and in space for astroparticle physics experiments and astrophysics
research, and special applications (medical, magnets for accelerators etc).

The Conference registration
fee is 1000000 ITL (about 558 US$) (+VAT) for company's participation.
An additional 500000 ITL (about 300 US$) (+VAT) participation is required
for each full time representative from Company attending the Conference.
All participants (even if not at full time) have to be registered independently
of the payment of the registration fee. In addition, this year, participants
will benefit from a renewed look of the stands, possibility to forward
prospects and other information of the Company by including it in the folder

ABSTRACT
SUBMISSION
For submitting a contributed
paper, it is required that authors write both the title and a short summary
of the paper in the registration form, which has to be sent to the conference
secretariat. However, an ABSTRACT of the paper (1 page long including figures)
has to be submitted by e-mail, as (possibly) attached PS or EPSF or Word
file, to: CONFERENCE98@mi.infn.it.

PROCEEDINGS
Elsevier Science B.V. will publish
the Proceedings of the "INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY
AND PARTICLE PHYSICS" VILLA OLMO, 5-9 OCTOBER 1998 in the PROCEEDINGS SUPPLEMENTS
section of the journal NUCLEAR PHYSICS B (page format 19 x 26 cm).
The Authors have to know
that their papers will not be accepted if they have been published elsewhere,
or are expected to be published elsewhere.
The Proceedings will be
produced from author-prepared camera-ready copy, and the Organizing Committee
will undertake to ensure delivery of the complete camera-ready typescript.
Authors will receice a typing
kit. These typing kits will consist of camera-ready typescripts and
detailed typing instructions which will be utilized by the contributors
in the preparation of their manuscripts.
